DMCA Policy

Plotline Pages respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are reported to us.

Filing a Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with a written notice containing the following information:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
  2. A description of the material that you claim is infringing and where it is located on the Plotline Pages website;
  3. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  4. A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Upon receipt of a notice of claimed infringement, Plotline Pages will promptly investigate the claim and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We may also terminate the account of the user who is determined to be a repeat infringer.

Filing a Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you have posted on the Plotline Pages website has been removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to Plotline Pages' designated agent containing the following information:

  1. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and where it was located on the Plotline Pages website before it was removed or disabled;
  3. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. A statement by you that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the federal district court for the judicial district in which Plotline Pages is located, if your address is outside of the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the notice of claimed infringement or an agent of such person;
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Please note that under the DMCA, any person who knowingly makes material misrepresentations in a notification of claimed infringement or counter-notification may be liable for damages.
